‍About the role

As a Full Stack Developer at SimpliPhi, you’ll work across both the front-end and back-end of our platforms to bring new features to life, support evolving use cases, and ensure a seamless experience as we grow to serve more users, integrations, and organizations. You’ll work with Laravel, JavaScript/jQuery, and Vue.js (with InertiaJS).

Full-time, in-person role | 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust full-stack web applications using Laravel and PHP.
• Enhance and implement front-end functionality with JavaScript and jQuery for optimal user interactions.
• Contribute to projects built with Vue.js and InertiaJS integrated with Laravel back-ends.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, shaping and supporting overall software architecture.
• Work collaboratively with fellow developers to deliver seamless, user-focused features.
• Write clean, secure, testable and well-documented code that prioritizes scalability and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and proactively resolve technical issues across the stack.
• Participate in code reviews and actively maintain internal documentation.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends in web development, tools, and best practices, and share insights with the team.

What you need on day 1 to be successful

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 3-5 years of professional experience in full stack development.
• Strong proficiency in PHP and Laravel.
• Solid understanding of JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with Vue.js and InertiaJS is a strong asset.
• Proficient with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Git version control.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Preferred skills (but not required)

• Experience with build tools like Vite or Webpack.
• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with automated testing or test-driven development.
• Exposure to DevOps or CI/CD pipelines.
• Basic knowledge of accessibility standards and performance optimization.
